Minutes from the May 2009 Meeting

President Betty S called the meeting to order at 7:15pm.

As there were no additions or corrections to the April minutes as printed in the newsletter, Deb B made a motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Jo F.  Motion passed.

Old Business
Plant Sale
Aspects of the upcoming plant sale were discussed.

·       Members only before the sale.

·       Don’t go out the side door during the sale.

·       Table set-up is 2pm , bring plants starting at 3pm .

·       Mae has the plastic for the tables.

·       At least 12 more tables are need for the sale.  Bring extra tables if you have one.

·       More cashiers need to sign up.

·       Members were instructed how to label plants.  See the website or May newsletter for details.

·       Be careful with the tags.

·       Bring lots of plants to the sale.

·       Armory will be open from 2pm until about 7:30pm for set-up on Friday.

·       Armory will be open from 7am until 2pm on Saturday.

·       The sale is open to the public from 9am until noon.

·       Cashier shop from 8-8:30am.

·       All other members shop from 8:30-9am.

·       More helpers are needed for carry-out.

·       Put your name on any tables or carts you bring.

Announcements

Ron Z – UWRF compost is already gone.  There should be more in 2 months.

June meeting will feature Ursula and history.

Susan R – America in Bllom update.  Please plant red flower in your front yard or entry areas.
