Minutes of the June 2009 meeting

President Betty S called the meeting to order.

A motion was made by Deb B to accept the May minutes as printed in the June newsletter.  The motion was seconded by Carolyn B.  Motion passed.

Treasurer’s Report

The plant sale had gross sales of $10,682, which was 29% over last year’s sale.  The net for the club was just a little over $5000.  There were about the same number of people who contributed plants as last year.  Check will be distributed.  There will be a review in the fall for preparing for the 2010 sale.  UWRF plants were 75% of sales.  $1315 more in UWRF sales this year, which was 608 more UWRF units.  All the carts and boxes contributed to the large volume of sales.

This year there was only a $2.85 discrepancy in sticks vs money.
