Minutes from the October 6 Meeting

President Betty S called the meeting to order at 7:05.

As there were no additions or corrections to the September minutes, Susan R made a motion to accept the minutes as printed in the October newsletter. The motion was seconded by Susan G and passed.

Treasurer Mae W was not able to attend the meeting. If anyone has any ideas for projects, speakers, recruitment, etc., for the 2009 budget, please let Mae know by October 20.

Susan R updated the group on America in Bloom. So far, lots of positive projects are coming along in River Falls. The paperwork will be submitted in 2009. Talk to Susan after the meeting if you have any questions.

Anne K received a thank-you from a RFGC scholarship recipient. The letter was passed around for member to look at.

A motion was made to end the meeting by Ursula P, seconded by Susan G. The meeting was adjourned at 7:25.
