Minutes from June 4, 2007 Meeting
President Susan R called the meeting to order at 6:40pm. Susan thanked
everyone who helped with the plant sale. The plant sale was a huge success, over
$9000 in sales.
As there were no additions or corrections to minutes from the May 2007 meeting, a motion was made to accept the minutes, seconded and passed.

Rain Garden Tour
Susan is coordinating a tour of River Falls rain gardens with Margaret Smith.
River Falls Garden Club members and St. Croix Valley Master Gardeners would be
invited. The tour would include several rain gardens, a few retaining basins,
and pervious roads. All of these help to distribute rain water into the ground
rather than running off directly into the river. Possible dates are the fourth
Thursday of either August or September but most likely in August.
