Other Discussion & Information
Town and Country Art Club
During the part of the meeting reviewing the minutes from the October meeting, there was additional discussion about the Town and Country Art Club.

Susan R displayed some of the items that are created by the Town and Country Art Club. Items for sale would be art with a garden motif, not crafts or tools.

There was discussion about if and how much of their sales the Town and Country Art club would share with the Garden Club.

Discussion points about including the Town and Country Art Club included: the fact that the Garden Club pays for liability insurance for the sale; extra room would be needed for the Town and Country Art Club; the Town and Country Art Club would draw extra people to the sale; and if more people attend the sale, extra sale plants might be needed.

River Falls Community Guide
Margaret S noted that the River Falls Garden Club photo that was used for publicity with the plant sale is featured in the River Falls Community Guide. However, the description for the club is quite short. We need to expand our description in the next guide.

Kinnickinnic River Land Trust
Margaret S, who works for the Kinnickinnic River Land Trust (KRLT), spoke to the group about what the KRLT does and how it benefits the community. She distributed KRLT membership forms and extra newsletters to the group. Margaret wrote an article about rain gardens in the last KRLT newsletter about rain gardens. Members discussed how the RFGC could help the KRLT.
