The city of River Falls is going to try to pay for buckthorn removal. The city is planning to first remove buckthorn along the White Parkway and then in Heritage Park. River Falls has a serious problem with buckthorn in the city parks and along the Kinnickinnic River.

Susan has also approached Master Gardeners who need extra volunteer hours to suggest doing buckthorn removal. Master Gardeners are pruning and weeding at Hospital Hill.
