Old Business
Plant Sale and the UWRF plants
Report from Trudy O:
1) The club should suggest wanted plant varieties and flats.
2) The horticulture classes will insert price labels but the club needs to have
the labels ready ahead of time.
3) The club needs to organize our set-up time with member plants more
efficiently.
New Business
Contacting speakers
Margaret S will not organizing the speakers next year. Setting up the speakers
involves calling the speakers and setting up speaking dates, creating a
description of the speakers presentation, giving the speakers a reminder call
before the meeting, getting a map to the speakers for the location of the
meeting, publishing the speaker info in the newsletter, and sending a thank-you
note to the speaker after the presentation.
Someone needs to volunteer to organize the speakers!
During meetings, we need have suggestions and discussion on what type of presentations and topics we want as input for whoever is setting up the speakers.
Share the Bounty
Margaret S reminds us of the Share the Bounty program and its many drop off
locations.
