Second Garden Education Box for the Public Library
Kim K asked if anyone remembers who made the finger puppets for the
first box and if anyone is willing to make puppets for the new box. As no
club member could remember who made the puppets, Kim suggested that Susan, the
Children's Librarian, will ask Kathy J if she remembers who made the
puppets.
Trudy O suggested that the club establish a seed exchange. Members were enthusiastic about the idea. In future meetings, members can bring in packaged and labeled seeds for exchange. Kim K will store the seeds between meetings.
Carolyn B reminded the club that the Wisconsin Master Gardener Association (WIMGA) is holding the annual conference at UWRF on Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22. Details of the conference were printed in the February newsletter. As the conference is not often held on this side of the state, this is a great opportunity to attend.
Trudy O suggested that perhaps the social time could be moved to the beginning of the meeting. Discussion ensued. The idea was tabled for a future meeting.
Lori N made a motion to close the meeting. Carolyn B seconded. Motion passed and the meeting closed.
