Proposed 2003 budget highlights
Treasurer Mae Wolfe suggested the club should think about increasing certain line items in the future such as scholarships.  The proposed budget, a conservative estimate, reflects a lower revenue with the plant sale, perhaps around $1280.  The sale will be at the Armory on May 24.  Proposed line items include: $350 for library donations; $200 for community education; $800 for scholarships; $250 for share the bounty; $500 for Heritage Park; and $600 for speakers.

Highlight of the budget will be discussed at the February 2003 meeting.  The proposed budget will take the club to just below $1000 in usable assets.  Previously, the club had closer to $2000 in usable assets.
